Non-refundable and non-cancelable.Basic Warranty : Genstor offers a basic warranty of 1 year parts and 3 years labor, return to depot, on all their pre-assembled systems. All of the special order and non-inventory items are excluded from this policy, unless otherwise specified during the order. Any items sold as parts along with the systems will carry a 30-day warranty. Extended warranty options are available, as mentioned below.
Genstor will pay for shipping charges to the customer, for systems repaired. It will be the customer's responsibility to ship items to Genstor.
As a courtesy to our customers, we will provide whatever help we can to get repairs done by the manufacturer, for special order parts. However, it takes an average 2-3 weeks from the time of receipt of your equipment before we can ship you back the repaired parts.
Systems and/or parts can be returned within the first 30 days, if performance is not up to customer's expectations, all these returns have to be approved by Genstor Customer Service. Severe restrictions apply. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping will be borne by the client and an RMA# is required to ship back to Genstor. Shipping charges, opened software, special order items, and assembly/testing charges are non-refundable.
All systems' that have been upgraded with parts or software not bought from Genstor, shall carry a charge of $50.00 per hour, if it is established that they are the items causing the problem.Warranty Options: Extended Warranty:
Genstor offers extended warranties for the hardware for up to 3 years total. This is the extension of the Basic Parts Warranty for another one or two year(s) on all of the components used in the system(s) built by Genstor. This means that any external peripheral such as keyboards, mice, monitors, printers, etc. are not covered where as components within case/chassis (eg. motherboard, power supply, memory, CPU, cards, drives, etc.) would be covered under specified usage. The extended warranty must be purchased at the time of the purchase of a new system.
This warranty would cover the cross-shipment of parts to the customer, once the problem has been diagnosed, and faulty hardware has been established. This warranty is available for up to 3 years total. Genstor will ship new parts for the first 30 days. After that, manufactured repaired, refurbished parts may be used. Special-order items are excluded from this policy. Special order parts will only be covered with manufacturers repair policy. Genstor will help the client get the part cross-shipped from the vendor, if possible. The warranty is void if it is established that the failure is due to customer's gross abuse, neglect, or misuse.
Genstor will offer on-site warranties on a limited basis. Please check with us.
The shipment of a new or refurbished part does not extend the basic hardware warranty or extended warranty bought, from that date. That warranty duration remains the sameTerms and Conditions: All warranties are available for original customers only. Extended warranty is non refundable and non transferable. Genstor is not responsible for any data/information on customers' storage devices (floppies, hard drive, data cartridge, etc.). It is the customer's responsibility to back up all data/information on the system(s)/part(s) that need to be repaired/upgraded.
Genstor is not responsible for any software/hardware compatibility issues on parts/systems customer does not purchase from Genstor, or for upgrade/repair not performed by Genstor.
All warranties will be voided if any components/systems which have been tempered with, damaged, and/or used contrary to manufacturer's operating guidelines.
Genstor is not responsible for any customer software application issues or peripheral devices compatibility issues or any such issues.Limitation of Liability: THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE CONTINGENT UPON THE PROPER USE OF THE HARDWARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS PUBLISHED BY THE MANUFACTURER AND MAY NOT APPLY TO ANY HARDWARE THAT HAS BEEN REPAIRED OR MODIFIED BY ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN GENSTOR.
THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
GENSTOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY AND DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR A WARRANTY THAT THE PRODUCT WILL OPERATE ERROR FREE. IN NO EVENT SHALL GENSTOR BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, OR SERVICES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. CUSTOMER AGREES THAT GENSTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR THE LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT, EVEN IF GENSTOR SHALL BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH POTENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE.
